Writer, public speaker, researcher, zinemaker, and provacateur Jeffery Darensbourg, Ph.D., is a member of the Atakapa-Ishak Nation of Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas. Recently a writer and residence at Tulane University's A Studio in the Woods and a Monroe Fellow of New Orleans Center for the Gulf South at Tulane, Jeffery is working on a book length study of the Atakapa-Ishak of Southwest Louisiana.

Ginny Hanusik is an artist whose projects explore the relationship between landscape, culture, and the built environment. Her work has been exhibited internationally, featured in The New Yorker, National Geographic, British Journal of Photography, Domus, Places Journal, The Atlantic, MAS Context, and Oxford American among others.

Hannah Chew is an artist, educator and environmental activist from New Orleans. Her artwork explores what it means to live in a time of global warming with a collective uncertain future, and specifically what that means for those of us living in Southern Louisiana. Her  practice explores the historical legacies that got us here to help imagine new possibilities for a livable future.

High Heal Doula, HHD, is a mother, poet, emcee, birth worker, multimedia content creator, and healer from New Orleans, LA whose artistry is motivated by preserving the stories that matter. She seeks to align the eye with the I, which simply means to align what one sees in the media and hears in her music with how they view themselves.
